The Ecosystem: A Well Balanced Force Of Nature
The Ecosystem is a balanced system in which there are many different components. Non-Living, which would include the Atmosphere, air, water, sun and soil. Living components which would include plant life, herbivores and carnivores.
Throughout the chain of life all of these components are evident. The non-living components give oxygen to the plants as well as sunlight to promote photosynthesis which helps with plant growth. The living components would be the plant life which thrive off of the non living components of an ecosystem. All animals including herbivores and carnivores are part of the living components.
A few examples of Plant life would be:
* Algae
* Lily pads
* Cypress Trees
* Grass
A few examples of Herbivores would be:
* Rabbits
* Nutria
* Turtles
* Squirrels
A few examples of Carnivores would be:
* Alligators
* Alligator snapping turtles
* Egrets
* Snakes
